All turbines are unique - like us humans
We like to say that each power plant has its own personality that has been built up over the years. The conditions around the watercourse, the existing turbine, auxiliary equipment, the brand and historical maintenance make your hydropower plant an individual that must be treated on its own terms.
An experienced partner
Through its long experience, TURAB has a solid knowledge of the plants history and the expertise to supply new technology. We offer complete water to wire installation of turbine plants including control systems and generators. With us, you will meet a competent and committed team with the experience and resources to “listen” to your particular plant. Our skilled engineers, designers, project managers, production and installation staff, work in close dialogue with your project team.
Prestigeless cooperation
A hydroelectric projects complexity varies a lot, depending on local conditions. TURAB wants to be a knowledge carrier and intermediary that contributes to positive development and strengthens the hydropower industry’s client expertise. This means that we cooperate unpretentiously with all project stakeholders. We assume overall responsibility from idea to contract, but also submit tenders based on the selected consultant’s specification.

With more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing and maintaining turbines for small hydropower, we have in depth knowledge of different turbine set-ups and types. In our manufacturing, we focus on Kaplan-and Francis turbines. We refurbish and maintain turbines of most brands.

Let's share our knowledge!
At TURAB we have a lot of knowledge about small hydropower and would like to share this knowledge with you as a customer. In the TURBINE ACADEMY we go through important experiences and knowledge in turbine technology. Our senior turbine engineers, Christer and Ingvar, trains, internally, our employees. They take up a topic in turbine technology for small hydropower, each training session. Soon, our TURBINE ACADEMY will also open for our customers. Are you interested?
