Turbines from Waplans
Waplans Mechanical Workshop of Krokoms municipality, was founded in the 1850s. They manufactured 1173 turbines between 1910 and 1957. The manufacturing of turbines was continued in 1978 in cooperation with Herman Lindquist. Turab and Waplans cooperated on certain projects. We do maintenance and refurbishments of these machines.
Turab is a Swedish manufacturer of small scale hydro turbines. We are serving a large number of hydro power plant customers. These customers own turbines from a number of different manufacturers. We have about 35 employees working with preventive maintenence, spare part manufacturing and repairs. We also offer knew turbines for existing power plants.
